How to use

Warm a small amount of cleanser between your finge tips and use circular movements to ork inmto dry skin. Run a muslin cloth under hot water and wring it out. Press the damp cloth onto your face for up to five seconds to open up the pores. use cloth to remove the cleanser, make-up and dirt from the skin. Repeat as required, rinsing each time. To close the pores, run cloth under cold water and wring out, then press the damp cloth to the face for up to five seconds.

FAQ

Q: Why is it important to use a good cleanser?

A: The incorrect cleanser can strip your acid mantle, a very important protective layer found on your skin. Along with the microbiome, it's part of the delicate matrix that creates a healthy skin barrier. This layer is often destroyed by cleansers and soaps when there is an increase in the pH of the skin. The repair time is often up to a few hours, leaving your skin vulnerable to bacteria and environmental damage. This “return rate” can be greatly influenced not only by the pH of a product but also the type of cleansing ingredients used.

Q: Should I do a double cleanse?

A: We recommend a double cleanse if you wear heavier or full coverage makeup, however, this is not always necessary. Slowing down with your cleanse and making sure that you massage the product over the skin is often enough to remove all traces of makeup

Q: What is a good cleanser for a sensitive skin?

A: You want a gentle cleanser that won’t leave your skin dry, tight and irritated. Look for balm cleanser or creamy cleansers that contain cleansing but soothing ingredients.

Q: Can I remove my eye makeup with this cleanser?

A: Balm cleansers are usually rich in oils like coconut oil, jojoba or almond oil and they are very effective in breaking down the bonds and pigments found in eye makeup.

Q: Why should I not be using make up wipes?

A: Make up wipes often contain harsh chemicals or fragrance that can irritate your skin and they may not thoroughly remove all traces of makeup. The also have a negative impact on the environment as they are often not biodegradable.
